118. The South Seas Connection (aka Death Watch)
First Broadcast: February 24, 1996
Mack is planning to continue from Samoa to Auckland, New Zealand, where he is to assist with security for the Vice President of the United States, who is speaking at the Pacific Rim Trade Associations convention. However, he is awakened in the night by a phone call which tells him he's been poisoned and must do as he's told in order to earn the antidote. To prove their serious intent, they have murdered the woman Mack is sharing his bed with. He heads off to Auckland, quickly pursued by Holli, who must try to find an antidote while also helping him track down the poisoners. The show climaxes at the convention where Mack is about to be framed for the assassination of the Vice President. Will Holli arrive with the antidote in time?
