101. Along Came a Spider
First Broadcast: September 1, 1994

Dr. Dawn Holliday and Lt. Mack Wolfe are hard-pressed to solve two separate murders when the perpetrators use cremation to destroy the forensic evidence. In one, a long-suffering nurse turns greedy, using her position to alter her elderly patient's will, then doing away with her. Her "perfect" murder is undone by her "fatal attraction" to Mack. In the other, a true black widow, a beautiful young woman -- under the control of her diabolical older sister -- picks Hawaii as the site for her third husband's unfortunate demise. Under pressure from an independent forensic expert who just happens to be her former teacher, Holli saves the day by discovering the presence of a virtually undetectable poison -- a heavy metal which can survive even the high temperatures of cremation.
