Kermit is an invaluable resource in the lab. He knows the equipment inside and out- and can fix almost anything you happen to break.
In addition to custom engineering much of our Bruker EPR spectrometer, he has been instrumental in incorporating our Dewar into both the Bruker and Varian EPR spectrometers.
Kermit has many diverse interests, including aviation, sailing, electronics (particularly radio transmission), geology, and history (particularly WWI and WWII as well as science and engineering history). He is a Korean War veteran who was stationed in France. He has done extensive research in the battles fought in France during WWI. A web page is devoted to his efforts.
