Legendary
actress Julia Roberts went straight up and approached a surprised Haley
and told him how much she admired his work. She said that she'd love to
work with him in the future. Haley simply stood and stared. He didn't
know what to say ! |

Haley
met with screen legend Gregory Peck, otherwise known as Hearty, at a party
at the Screen Actors Guild home. Haley asked Hearty how old he was
to which the legend replied, 84. Hearty then asked him how old he
was and Haley told the legend he never discusses his age ! |

Haley
has hit out at plans to turn the best-selling Harry Potter books into films.
Proving his intellect is as precocious as his acting, the 12- year-old
offers a mature critique. He says, "Harry Potter is 70 percent imagination.
When the movie comes out, it's going to be such a stereotype for kids.
When they think of Harry Potter, they're going to think of what is portrayed
on screen." Steven Spielberg, who wanted Haley for the role, backed
out of directing the film. Haley explained, "I never wanted to do
Harry Potter. I thought it should have stayed as a book. There are some
books that should be made into movies and some that shouldn't." |

Big-hearted
Helen Hunt, who co-starred with Haley in Pay It Forward, defended Haley
Joel Osment's dramatic childhood She hit out at critics who believe
the young star has been pushed into the acting business. "His performance
is not some accident. Acting really means a lot to him, and I remember
feeling that way. When Haley does a take and it doesn't go well and everybody
is moving on, you can see it's upsetting to him. He wants to get it right
- but at the same time he is a kid. Whheen he is done he goes and rides his
bike," she said. |

Bruce
Willis is dishing out career advice to his young co-star Haley Joel Osment.
Bruce struck up a close friendship with the Oscar nominee during filming
of their blockbuster thriller - and he's kept a fatherly watch over Osment
ever since. Haley says, "We keep in touch on the internet and he calls
me - we've kept in touch." |
