Nikolas engagement party, Luke asks Laura to dance, their first kiss as them, in this world...
Works for me but the kiss wasn't ENOUGH for how long we've been waiting! We still haven't had a good kiss yet! (As of December 31st, 2001 when I'm making this)
Laura is FURIOUS at Luke for drinking her onto the "Love Boat Adventure". She thinks it's to make a fool out of her which is a damn good guess since he's very good at doing that to her! ARG! Revenge...
"I sure couldn't have done this without you," Luke tells Laura. "No, you couldn't have, could you?" Laura says mad as hell and putting on a huge fake smile.
Thoughts of revenge flooding her mind...
LOL! I love Laura!
"I know a lot more than you think!"
"I know, exactly what's going on here."
"There's so much I wanna tell you, Laura." "Really! When..."
"Tonight! I feel a celebration coming on..."
"Oh you do, do you?" She has to get out before she strangles him. "Excuse me..." she goes to the bathroom and thinks of a plan.
Laura escapes the room, making Luke believe she's been captured and that terrible things are happening to her when in fact she's playing poker and flirting with a whole bunch of guys at a table drinking beer! THE WOMAN!
"I'm having fun, which is only fair considering how much fun YOU'VE been having playing secret mission!"
"And in fact since you're so good at playing games, why don't you pull up a chair, dear?"
Luke knows he's now SCREWED!
He tells her to come back to the stateroom and yell at him there.
"I can't believe that you would go to ALL this trouble just to prove that you could-I can't believe you got me to abandon my entire life at CHRISTMAS no less!" "The mission has a purpose!" "Really? And what is that! To make a fool out of me?" "No, to get you back." Laura at first is, WTF, and then she listens to him.
She loves him, but it's a little strange to just pop back into happiness...even if he tells her he wants her back.
"Luke...I can't promise anything, I mean, you're crazy, you do realize that?"
"We were having problems for a long time...I mean, weren't we?"
Gives her more words of love without saying "I love you", which stuns her. It's been awhile since they were pleasant let alone intimate.
She tells him this is crazy again. "Well then let's be crazy..."
"Let's do something completely off the wall! Marry me..." he says.
WHAT?
Are you crazy?
Luke...we just got divorced...
He asks her again, now she knows he's crazy.
"Have you lost your mind?" she says. "Quite possibly," he replies. "But my few remaining brain cells are waiting for an answer."
She has to set the wine down, she's so stunned. He says, "You know, if you get the YES part out of the way, we could go ahead and celebrate." Aww, I love him!
"Luke...do you REALLY want us to get married again" she says.
"That is exactly what I want!" he says. "I've never wanted anything more." She's shocked but happy.
She jumps into his arms without answering. "I love you," she whispers desperately.
"I love you," he replies holding her tighter, afraid to let her go.
She pulls back a little...
Laura pulls from the kiss when it starts to become a little more and comes up with the reasons he is insane. "The ink on the divorce papers isn't even dry," she half laughs at how crazy this is. "I have a confession to make," he replies. "This divorce thing isn't working for me." "Maybe you shouldn't jump to that conclusion...just yet." They discuss it and finally he says, "The only way you're gonna get out of this is to tell me you don't love me...can you do that?" That's her face. "You know I can't," she replies smiling. "You know I love you!"
Luke comes in and says, "Laura, just do as I say, don't ask any questions." "What's with the rope," she says. "That's a question!" She plays along.
"Gee, it's a rope!" "There ya go, no questions," Luke says smiling.
She goes outside where the rope leads her, comes back and there's a motorcycle in the middle of the room. "Luke, my carpet..." "Aw don't worry about the carpet, I'll buy you a new one!" God, Luke...
She tries to get on the motorcycle with him, takes a minute.

Lucky and Liz show up to announce to the parents that they are getting married. Seeing L&L on the motorcycle Lucky asks confused, "Why's there a motorcycle in the living room?" Laura rolls her eyes. "Ask your father."
They tell L&L.
They're stunned but happy for them.
Laura, who still hasn't answered, is driving Luke nuts, he asks her to elope!
