Laura manages with a hair pin to unshackle the chains Luke was in as Jennifer Smith's prisoner. "You did it? Get over here!"

"My intended caught...kissing another woman. And look who the other woman is."
"Laura." Laura backs up from this psychotic woman. "Hi Jennifer," she says weakly. "WHY does it always have to be you..." Jennifer moans hilariously.
Jennifer screams loudly, freaking Laura out.
Laura is on trial for Damian Smith's murder, Jennifer's brother. Luke set it up to buy time.
Luke gives a speech on how beautiful and exquisite Laura is.
"Laura, you divorced Luke, you were through with him." "Yes...I was." "Then why are you standing here preventing us from marrying?" "Because I wanna marry him again!"
Jennifer's thugs also say Laura is too beautiful to be guilty and they pronounce her innocent.
After yelling at each other a bit, Laura confesses she said yes to marrying him the last time he asked when he left before she could answer!
What a face!
L&L's plan is for Luke to pretend to love Jennifer and want to marry her while Laura is adamantly against it.
Laura steps up to Jennifer and frowns in fury. (Laura has the CUTEST frown!)
The "Reverend" shows up just in time for the ceremony!
Luke, Laura, and Jennifer are thrilled to see him.
Jennifer turns around and Laura has to quickly turn her smile into a frown! LOL!
L&L thought they'd made it safely away, but then they got trapped in a mine shaft, and Laura can't get Luke out from beneath the debris before it's flooded. "Darlin', you don't wanna see this part, please just get out, now. Don't watch this!"
She cries, knowing she can't get him out as he begins to drown. This scene was very powerful. I can't imagine being in Laura's place at that minute.
Luckily, Roy and Felicia come to help Laura and together they get Luke out. Laura gives him CPR and eventually he comes to, seeing the love of his life and his friends there with him.
