As I got to know you better with your gentleness and honesty it encourged me to open my feelings up to you more.
I trusted you like I never trusted anyone else before, I thought you were different and as I could express my feelings of love to you, I thought we could share our thoughts of passion and love and togetherness, our hearts were almost one.
You never know what lies ahead in life! You take life as it comes, and life is what you make of it, And you are the one who makes life worth while thats why we all need love. Lifes ups and downs is what makes life a challenge.
And then one morning you wake up and that person that you are in love with isn't who you thought they were. The outer shell was bad and tainted, but the inner shell was like Gold bright and shiny, but all people look at things differently, and now all I see are shattered dreams.
You meant so much to me in my life, Thank you for loving me, thank you for blending your emotions with me, but now all I see are shattered dreams.
The dreams were brightly colored and clear to see that a true love was bonding between you and me, But as you see now all we see are shattered dreams.
