I have adopted a POW/MIA from the Vietnam War. There are many views on the POW/MIA issue, ranging from there being POW/MIA's left in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, or even Russia and China, to there being none.
My own view is this.
If a man has the honour to lay his life on the line for his country, then he should be able to rest assured that every effort will be made to find him in the event of him being lost or taken prisoner, and his family told of his fate. Should I ever need to go to war, I would like to feel that also.
I care that these men are alive, and their families should find out the truth after 30 years of waiting and hoping.
