"Trapped" [0052]
Weary of hearing Ed (Tom Cavanagh) and Carol (Julie Bowen) talk incessantly about each other, Mike (Josh Randall) and their other friends decide to lock up and isolate the potential lovebirds for the night -- or longer -- in Stuckeybowl until they agree to formulate new ground rules for their rollercoaster relationship. In the meantime, Mike lamely tries to entertain Nancy (JanaMarie Hupp) and Molly (Lesley Boone) while Phil (Michael Ian Black) challenges Eli (Daryl "Chill" Mitchell) to a game of Scrabble whose outcome could force Eli to summon enough courage to ask out a local woman for a date. Rachel Cronin also stars. Kelly Ripa guest stars as Jennifer.
