The Katie Holmes and James Van Der Beek Fan ZoneOkay, I'm a huge Dawson's Creek fan but what always kept me coming back was the relationship of Joey and Dawson. The series is over and it ended WRONG in my opinion, as you'll see with my comments below. But no matter what, Joey and Dawson were it. And the reason we all love Joey and Dawson is the chemistry between Katie Holmes and James Van Der Beek. So I made a site with stuff on both of them, and Joey and Dawson. I'm redoing most of my sites because frankly, they're all messes. I'm often donating my great stuff to domain sites of the same fanbase, since my great stuff can't be contained by these free sites based on small space and crappy bandwidth. Well we majorly got SCREWED!!!
(This was written in April, 2003, shortly after I'd loved and hated the series finale) Okay, what the hell was that? No seriously, what the hell was that? What the hell was the Season Finale? Pacey let's Joey go FINALLY, she goes to Dawson, they say they're soulmates and they very intensely express their love for each other, and then she ends up with Pacey? Not only does that suck, it makes no sense. Why would Pacey be okay all of a sudden with NOT being her soulmate? He was never able to handle being with her with what she had with Dawson in the first place, so now all of a sudden that's just peachy with him? Pacey DESERVES a woman who will be his soulmate. Who will be able to share everything with him, including that particular title. But that title's taken, and he deserves it. Why is he settling? And Joey NOT choosing her soulmate, is she on drugs? When is she going to stop being afraid of what she has with Dawson? This sucked and I feel the pain with you guys, my fellow D/Jers. I crusaded with you through all of these years and twenty years from now I'll be watching my DVDs and still knowing who she really belongs with. Nothing on the show has ever made sense besides Dawson and Joey, HOW COULD THEY DO THIS? Pacey, who I love dearly, don't get me wrong, will screw up again and hurt her, and who will be there for her again, so she sees AGAIN who she belongs with? Hello!
I'm so confused. Pacey was still in a similar place! He was still sleeping other people's wives and getting beat up. Poor thing. And he's always going to be in Capeside, where Joey always wanted to leave! And guess who left? DAWSON! Well, Joey will wake up and realize she wants the man who doesn't cheat, it just would've been nice to have SEEN IT! I'm gonna keep this site up, and we will forever live in the memories, the fan fiction, and the knowledge that despite the crappy season finale, Joey will always belong with Dawson. Love you guys, thank you for the support and I will try to give you what Kevin didn't! :) But I'm not gonna sit quietly and suffer in silence without letting them know what they've DONE!
