Do you get the blues? Try some St. John's Wort! It really works! This popular natural herb has helped me on those "down days". St. John's Wort is also helpful for nerve pain.
Have YOU tried it? Please comment if you have.

I like what you said about St. John's Wort. I use it regularly, two 300 mil tabs a day. I use it for mood enhancement. I never connected it to Holistic medicine but I guess that is what it is.

My husband suffered from "road rage", which is easy in a tourist town in Florida. I started him on St. John's and within three weeks even He noticed the difference. He can play golf without losing his "cool" and even go into the town without his usual anger. It was getting to the point that I wouldn't go with him while the tourist season was on. We both swear by the affects of it.

For years I was on medication for high blood pressure until 12 years ago when I met a doctor who believed a change was necessary. Eat wisely he said to keep up your nourishment, but be sure to include brown rice at least once a day, not the quick cooking rice but the full brown rice. Combine this with regular exercise. Nothing too strenuous but at least go for a walk every day. Six weeks later my blood pressure returned to normal and I have been medication free ever since but brown rice is still part of my daily intake. Try it, You will be amazed.

I have asthma. I find that chewing on Osha Root, just a small piece, will relieve it just about as well as the prescription drugs, and no side effects. I also drink Mullein tea daily, with peppermint for flavor, to clear my lungs and balance the ph in my body. I use echinacea, tea or capsules, whenever I feel a cold coming on. That works very well.
