Hello and welcome to MEISTERHUNDE KENNELS. Meisterhunde kennels consists of John Buckley and Chris Allen. We are a small kennel situated in Victoria, Australia. Our home and kennels are nestled on a ten acre, fully fenced property, set amongst native trees, and bush land where our dogs can run free.
Our kennel consists mainly of German lines and has been very successful under BREED SPECIALIST JUDGES, collecting a multitude of V-1 EXCELLENT ratings. Along the way, we have shown our dogs to many titles and wins, ANKC Championships, Best In Show, Best in Group, and Best of Breed. We currently have the only import to have ever won TWO BEST IN SHOW AWARDS at Specialty Rottweiler Shows. Even though our breeding program started some 12 years ago, we revised the program with the aquisition of dogs from the 'JENECKS LINE', which gave us excellent bone, head, substance, and great working ability. I found these lines excel in conformation, obedience, agility, and are sound in mind and body with eagerness to please. Being so impressed with the results, we imported more of these lines. In fact I am the ONLY kennel in Australia that own fully bred Jenecks dogs.
We are committed to all aspects of this breed and place equal importance in health, longevity, conformation and the working ability of our dogs. Physically, the Meisterhunde line is robust and square with excellent bone, head, and substance, strong and balanced, beyond structural beauty and soundness, with the correct temperament equally at home as well as during work and play like a true Rottweiler should be.
All of our dogs have been x-rayed, eye and mouth certified, so whether your plans are to show, do obedience, agility, schutzhund, or in need of a family companion and protector, these lines excel at working, and we are pleased to offer suitable dogs in any of these areas.
