Samuel was born at Midlands Community Hospital on March 23, 2000, at 11:48 pm by cesarian section. He weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces, and was 22 inches long.

Sammy is now 6, and quite a boy. He definitely keeps me young. He's in the 1st grade and having a blast.

I am now a grandfather 4 times over. Ashley was born in Wichita to my oldest daughter Shannon and her husband Josh on July 21, 2001, at 11:09 am. She weighed 6 pounds, 12.5 ounces, and was 18.25 inches long.

Emily was born on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2003. Then came another bundle of joy, Mallory, born November 2 of 2004. And below the girls pic is the latest, Ian Nathanial, born September 12, 2006. They finally had a boy!

On July 19, 2008 my 5th grandchild was born. Her name is Abbygail Rebecca. Picture soon.

Above is the Peace Family Coat of Arms. The family comes from, of all places, the Orkney Islands off the northern tip of Scotland. They descended from the Vikings who settled there in the 9th Century. I am proud to be a descendent of these fierce warriors. Click on the Coat of arms to see some family pictures.
