Genie Francis on Days of Our LivesIn 1986-1989, Genie Francis joined Days of Our Lives as Diana Colville. Several people obviously wondered how Genie could go to DAYS and not home to General Hospital. Rosie O'Donnell said, "You joined DAYS...what were you thinking Genie! You left my show!" "I was thinking I needed a job," Genie replied. Genie absolutely did not enjoy her time on DAYS because she knew people viewed it as a failure. Also, Diana was never a complete character, no one ever felt a connection with her, even Genie never knew what Diana was really about.
Genie Francis's Diana Colville began a romance with then Roman Brady, played by Drake Hogestyn. They were a heartthrob, but never a recreation of the great Luke and Laura. Diana also played close, great friends with the famous Patch and Kayla. Played by Mary Beth Evans and Stephen Nichols. Ironically, when Genie went back to General Hospital, both of these costars followed in another triangle, between Laura, Stefan Cassadine, and Katherine Bell. Though on DAYS, Patch and Kayla won without a doubt, Genie and Stephen's chemistry heated up as Stefan and Laura. Captures of Diana by Rabet, who like me is a Stefan/Laura fan, so since these photos were captured in Greece, they are named "Lasha" because that was Laura Spencer's Cassadine name when held on Greece by Helena and Stavros. And these photos look very similar to ones that were and could've been taken while Laura was held hostage there.

Patch and Kayla's Wedding, Diana was the Maid of Honor and Roman was the Best Man, Roman caught the garter and Diana caught the bouquet. BTW, the couple is Stefan and Katherine Bell on GH. :)
