Just close your eyes,
and think of an island.
An island that has no name,
an island that knows no pain.
An island were trust is more than a word,
an island that shows no hate.
And an island that has no time,
for the worst of times.
All past thoughts have been forgotten,
all pain has been removed from your mind.
Your thoughts and feelings have been changed,
your smile has become more natural,
the gleam of joy has returned to your eyes.
Yes, this may only sound like a dream,
but if only for a few minutes.
If in these words I havve written,
a smile has formed upon your lips,
then all I am trying to do has worked.
Making you think for even a second,
that one day we may find this island,

Well I’ve found this island,
and I now know where it is.
For you see this island,
is really deep inside of you and me,
its really the sharing of two hearts.
For if you think about it,
trust has been gained,
happiness has returned,
there is no pain or hate,
your smile has returned,
and the gleam has returned to your eyes.
So you see it’s not a dream,
it’s really the bound between you and me.
This island is really the love, the hope,
And the caring for each other that we share!!
