 -The 3rd. Jewish patriach called Ya'akov/Jacob,  but upon a wrestle with an angel,
 -He named Ya'akov/Jacob  into  Yisra'el/Israel,
 -Ya'akov/Jacob then had 12 sons,
 -who grew into the  known  12 Tribes, later,
 -so then after the Jews left the slavery in Egypt, they were united as a nation,
  who were called:  "Benei-Yisrael"/'the sons of Israel',
-so the Jews were called with this name for a long time,
-later they were 2 countries:    Yisrael/Israel,  Yehudah/Judea.
