Players (audio/video):       There are mainly 2 Audio-Player types out there:  

1)  RealPlayer            

            2)  Windows-Media-Player   

   ((others too:      Quicktime(Apple),    Winamp,    etc.     & Flash, Shockwave-Player)) 

 
 all kinds of players are from this link/section. 

 

 


1)    Real:   

     latest:     RealPlayer, v10.0     

  ((before it was:  RealOne Player:       (& instead of the much older RealAudio Player ) 

every  Audio played here with 'RealPlayer' is marked with:  

  2 options to getting it:    

A)  at "Real Networks" ,   click the right-side's  words:  "Download Free RealPlayer".

((before: at "Real Networks" ,   click the top-right corner's small pic:  "FREE RealOne Player" )). 

OR: 

B)  go get the free RealPlayer, version 10, its latest build is HERE:   RealPlayer, v10.0,   beta 6.0.12.690:  (RealPlayer  10.0 Beta)

Attention:  Download it,     Install it,     Register for free (give faked info),

Set it up very properly/carefully,      then download almost all UPDATES. 

(then it can play any music file, including the bellow W-MediaPlayer )


  


2)  Windows-Media-Player 

every  Audio played here with the 'W.Media Player' is marked with:  

  2 options to getting it: 

A)  at "Microsoft" , then choose one of the two types (free) of: "Windows Media Player 9 Series". 


OR: 

B)  Windows-Media-Player (v. 9.0),  at    "Download.com": 

b1) either:  for Windows 98SE/2000/Me (13.3MB/free), 

b2) OR: for Win. XP (9.6MB/free) . 


b3) or else:  the old WMP (v. 6.4) will be good too.  

(( both v9.0 + v6.4,  are located in:   C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player  

  -new player 9.0 is called:   "wmplayer"   

  -old player (but still good) 6.4 is called: "mplayer2"      ))

1) "באפרינג": Buffering 
מישהו כתב לנו כי נתקע לו הנגן , ולכן ענינו: 
יש לסדר ה"באפרינג" (אגירה תחילתית לזכרון) על מוגבל ל-30 שניות, ולא 'בלתי-מוגבל': 


if u got the buffering running to full, so it shall take for ever to fill, 
u have got to change it to 30 sec. here is how to: 

on wmp9: 
'tools', 'options', then to 'performance': in it, to 'network buffering' click 
on 'buffer', input '30' for 30 seconds, 'apply' 'ok' 

on RealOne: ,v.2: 
'tools' , 'preferences' , in 'Connection' goto 'Playback Settings', in it, 
to 'Buffered Play', change it to 30 (to 30 sec). 




2) והנה המלצתנו לעניין שימוש בנגן: 
עדיף רק בנגן אחד , עבור כל סוגי המוסיקה אודיו/וידיאו, וכד', 
המלצנו מטעמי נוחות גרידא, להשתמש בנגן ריל-וואן, (מהדורה 2): 


we though, recommend u use the 
'RealOne' , version2, build 6.0.11. 
its way too easier to use, its got the ability to play all the media types out there, 

הערות לגבי ה'מדיה-פלאייר', וגם: remarks for WMP 
the quality of WMP sound may be better, but thats all. 
איכות הצליל/הסאונד, אצל ה-'מדיה-פלאייר' ---כנראה טובה יותר, אך התוכנה עצמה כבדה 
יותר, 
למעשה, אם חייבים להשתמש ב-'מדיה-פלאייר', עדיף אולי עם הנגן הקודם/הישן, מהדורה 
6.4 , הוא עדיין נמצא על מחשבכם , אפילו אם לא ידעתם, ראו המיקום המצויין להלן.... 


לגבי הריל-וואן האחרון: 
-הורדתו: go get the free RealOne player, version2, latest build ... 
RealOne Player 2.0 Build 6.0.11.853:
(Release Date: December 18th, 2002 ,,, File Size: 8152 KB. 
for any Windows o/s ) 


-התקנתו: then install it right, 
-רישום: if u r asked, then do some funny/phony registration, with no real info,
 no real email, bcs no need to ....... 

-סידורו: then set it up right, be very careful to go through the options ,one 
by one carefully. 
(mostly at: 'tools' , 'preferences'.....) 
חלק מההוראות החשובות לעת סידור הריל-וואן: 
some important settings to do: 
-be careful on the spying options at: 'Connection' "Internet Settings' 
don't allow the first 3, only 2 thereafter (4th ,5th ). 
-on 'Automatic Services' , make sure no mark in the first 2 options. 
-and at 'AutoUpdate', make sure there is no mark. 
-on 'Content' , 'Media Types', choose 'select all' . 
-on 'Connection' , mark-in the 'Enable TurboPlay' 
-and select 'Assume i am online' . 
-at 'Playback Settings' , 'Network Time-out', write in the max in both: 300 

-עדכונים: -then go get the Updates, but u will need almost all of them, in a 
few downloads. 
('tools', 'check for update' .....) 
-u will be able to play the Windows-Media-player's files/links too. 


-you will need to also: 
Change some files' names, or Remove some files, 
files that don't help u , but just r heavy on the system, (check all info 
below.....)

    b) Fill out the form, (6 questions, and UN-Check the last,

  REMEMBER:    There are 7 steps to fully get a program
                    downloaded from the Internet:
download, scan,   install, settings,   register, updates,   codes

1)   DOWNLOAD  it.
     (and also recommended: After done with the download,

                   for viruses,  every file you don't trust.)
3)   INSTALL  it.  (do it properly, choose the correct choices).

4)     SETTINGS:  Go through  all  the options, to SET-them
         properly,  especially find the  "Preferences" 
         and check it carefully,(or "options") !!!!
6)     UPDATES:   to to "help">>>>>"check for update",
             and check all the updates you may need, and decide
             what you wish to get too.
