The Physioterapist, also known as a physical therapist, help patients with muscoluskeletal problem.
The therapist plan, organizes and administers treatment to restore functional mobility, relieve pain,
and prevent or limit permanent disability for those
suffering a disabling injury or disease.
The Therapist functions include assessing the patients mobility and strength, providing therapeutic
measures, such as exercise and heat applications, and teaching new skill.
A physical therapist must complete a program study and earn
a degree or certificate from an institution accredited physical therapy program.
The studnets receives classroom training in science, biomechanics, human
growth and development, manifestations of disease and trauma, and courses in specific
therapeutic processes. Besides receiving classroom training, students receives supervised clinical experience in
administering physical therapy. The therapist must also be licenced by the state in which the or she practices
