Christine Mikesell is a Graduate Gemologist with over seventeen years experience in the jewelry business. She graduated from the internationally recognized Gemological Institute of America which is located in Santa Monica, California. G.I.A. is known worldwide for producing some of the most qualified and sought after professionals in the gem field. Christine graduated at the top of her class in 1982 and began her career in Tampa, Florida. After working there for several years, she was recruited by one of the largest estate buyers in the Southeast, Southern Estate Buyers and Appraisers. There she developed her appraising and buying skills as well as the ability to teach others about gemstones. As a buyer and appraiser on the staff of Perry's of Charleston, Christine continued to expand her knowledge base and areas of responsibility. Currently the director and president of CSM Gem Lab, Christine brings a professional and innovative approach to the jewelry appraisal business.
