Forest Kin: Wyverunjii

Odd. Why would a jungle be in a forest? You continue on anyway, pushing branches away with some difficulty. When you finally reach a clearing, you drop to you knees, panting. It was hot outside the lush 'forest', but now the high canopy of leaves shades you. You lay on the ground, a close your eyes some. Before long, you've fell asleep.

When you awake, you come face to face with a brooding figure. You vision is blurry, and instinctivly you jump and pull the covers over your head. Covers? You pull them down and blink a few times. The once brooding figure has turned into a young, innocent looking girl with brown hair and green eyes. "I think our traveler is awake, Odyssya.", she says. Surely enough, Odyssya is leaning against the doorframe, arms and wings folded. "Good, Anni. Think you can handle taking the visitor around?" Anni gives Odyssya an obvious look. "I live here. With everything here. I'm sure I can handle on little wanderer." Resentful, you interupt by saying you are most certainly not little. Anni laughs and waves Odyssya away, who vanishes in an instant. You wonder if she will ever put those wings to good use. You sit up and look around. You are in a cabin of some sort. It is very neat, and reminda you of the jungle. Jungle. When the word appears in your head you quickly spin around and look out the window. You sigh and turn around. Still in the jungle. All that time, Anni has been looking at you with her curious eyes. You greet her and she smiles. You stand and look around her cabin. ~Hiiiieeee!~ a high pitched voice calls before you are pounced upon. "Nokzia!", Anni cries. The culprit has already let you up and has returned to its comfortable corner.

~What?~ Nokzia says over a wing. Anni smiles, shaking her head. "Such a little trouble-maker. Sometimes I wish he'd stayed in his egg.", she says that loudly, but shoots the wyverunjii a loving look. "Nokzia is a birch male wyverunjii. I wonder if he has any special talents. They didn't give me much infortmation where I got him. If Nokky has any, he sure hasn't shown them." Anni laughs. You wish her luck and she wishes you luck getting out of the jungle.
