graphic design aficionada

i've had internet connection since 1996. i was a little snot-nosed 12 year old kid, learning how to "surf," "chat," and "email." since then, i've learned many things about computers, programs, HTML and all that other good stuff all on my own. i've never had any formal training or read any books. i've just...learned. and slowly, i've grown to love design. i love designing; layouts, icons, ads, flyers, webpages, etc. i love it.

now that i'm out of high school and in college, i've decided to pursue a career in graphic design. i want to have the formal training and degree to actually make something of my life with graphic design (and love it!). hopefully, i end up doing ads or websites or something. i dunno. i'm only 18 and figuring everything out right now.

i still don't know what "graphic design" is really all about, but that's the best part - discovery.
