While on vacation we visited Ashville, NC and went hiking at Craggy Gardens on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was beautiful.

On Saturday, 9/18/99, Ana took a nap. After a while she woke up, and in a rare occasion I got to her with a camera before Karen got to her with the hair brush!
On Sunday, 9/19/99, we attended Mass at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville, TN, while attending the fetal surgery reunion. The Most Reverend Ed Kmiec, Bishop of Nashville, celebrated Mass and he gave our family and Ana a special blessing afterward!

We stayed with our friends Mike & Carlye in Asheville, NC. Karen took this picture of Ana and me through the screen door.
