Our Vacation in Boston - March, 2000!
Wow! We had a great time in Boston! Our first trip to a big northeastern city! Karen & Ana saw snow for the first time! We saw the Monet's and the Van Gogh's at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, had canolli and visited Sacred Heart Church in Little Italy, visited Harvard Square, attended Mass at the beautiful gothic Cathedral of the Holy Cross and met the Archbishop of Boston, and saw the entire city from atop the Prudential building. Cindy and Robbie made fun of me because I enjoyed riding the train so much!
Somebody told me they call that white stuff on the ground "snow". 3/18/2000
Ana in her Pooh jacket. We had just arrived in Boston and were going to China Town for lunch! 3/15/2000
Karen, Ana, Aunt Cindy & Uncle Robbie (You can see me in the mirror taking the picture). We stopped in Little Italy for coffee & canolli. 3/15/2000
What is Ana looking at?
According to local folklore, if you touch the toe of the statue of John Harvard, then you will graduate from Harvard! This would actually be a good trick, since I am enrolled at USF!
Isn't she beautiful?
Uncle Robbie & Aunt Cindy on the train.
Ana about to demonstrate her new crawling technique!
We bought Ana this top in a toy store at Harvard Square. She loved it! We went to the Green House Cafe for coffee (Where they charge for refills, can you believe it?) and Ana played with her top the whole time we were there!
See my new top???
