You walk in and are immediately assaulted by an auntie. She starts firing questions at you, but you're prepared.

"Well I'm doing a joint PhD program - nueroscience and computer science. My father is Algerian and my mother is American. I spent 14 years in Algeria, so I'm fluent in Arabic and French. I completed my undergrad at the City College of New York, where I also played for their basketball team."

"Hmm...you have very fair skin," she responds.
