Jillian is so very precious to me; A child from God, and sent from he. Her father left, abandoned her, and then did flee; From her life, once and forever, and just disappeared you see. He'll never care to know, the emotional crisis he left; The damage he's done, with the lack of a Father's gift. The needs in her heart, for love and affection; From the Father she once knew, who should have gave her direction. I've tried very hard, to fill her needs; To get him to see, the result of his deeds. I hurt deep inside, knowing not what to do; To take away her hurt, and feelings of blue. Maybe some day he'll read, this poem I'm penning in; Begin again to be her Dad, show her love, and how to grin. Copyright 2000 Rowena Marten FRIEND'S PORTAL EXPRESS YOURSELF FORUM | |
