MISSION TRIPS
I have been on two mission trips before, and i hope to make it a major part of my life... I absolutely love it. both my mission trips were with the Ultimate Workout. That's an adventist trip sponsored by Insite and Maranatha. There's a link to it further down on the page.
The first trip i went on was to Honduras in 1999, and the second one was to Nicaragua in 2000. i did a page on each of them mission trips. There's a few pics so wait for the downloads. The Honduras one is more extensive as far as writing and describing, but i'll eventually get around to the Nicaragua one.

This website is basically about Rio Claro and Sonaguera, two of the four building sites. I was on a different one.(Baranco Chele) There are LOTS of pictures, and it's really well done.
A well-designed site that tells a little more about the Ultimate Workout as a whole. I don't think it's been updated for a long time though.
The Ultimate Workout is just a smaller piece of this ministry. Maranatha is a volunteer organization that builds churches, houses, and schools. I can't tell you a whole lot about it, but check out their web page.
This is the website for the ministry that handles the Ultimate Workout directly. Steve Case is the "president" and he basically coordinates the whole mission trip with the help of his committed staff.
