My Beliefs

I believe that if it weren't for the precious love of my Lord Jesus Christ and His Father, neither I nor anyone else on this world would be alive. It is only Jesus' willingness to step between us and death that has kept us alive this long, and it is his love that will help me survive through the coming storm. And there is one coming. I know there's a God because I've felt him fill me up and I've seen his work every where. When I went on the mission trip to Honduras, I saw so many things that just inspired me... but I didn't get back to him until after I got home. When I got home I realized that I hadn't found what I was looking for... a closer relationship with God. That really scared me so I asked a friend what I should do. She told me to go out into nature and tell God exactly what I had told her, so I did. I went into a nearby cemetery and talked to God. It was so amazing, he just filled me up. He shows me in so many ways how he's with me and how he's listening to me.

I gained a new perspective on faith when I was in Nicaragua. I learned that no matter what happens, God has a reason for it. It can seem like the worst thing in the world, but everything will always work out for good if we will only trust him. At the end of the mission trip, I was rebaptized by Butch Morgan, my dear friend in Christ. My life has been a series of ups and downs, spiritually, but I know that through it all, God has been with me. I believe very strongly in the power of prayer, and I know that no matter how small an issue is, God cares. Even if it's only a plea for peace from a troubled mind, He will answer, and grant. It's awesome to have the most powerful force in the universe on your side. With that kind of fire power, how can you loose?

I respect the way others believe and I expect others to respect what I believe in. If you challenge my faith to my face I won't leave it undefended.

I am a Seventh-Day Adventist, which means I go to church on Saturday and I believe that the dead are sleeping and know nothing. I also believe in baptism by immersion. (going all the way under the water) Here is a link that will tell you more about my religion.

This is a calender of sunrises and sunsets for the year 2001. As a Seventh-Day Adventist, I believe that Sabbath starts at sundown on Friday and ends at sundown on Saturday.

I also believe that Ellen White was a prophetess and knew what she was talking about. Here's a link to her. If you ever feel like reading something, i reccomend her book, The Great Controversy

Last but not least, I believe that it is NEVER to late for Jesus. You are never to far gone to get back to him. In fact, the minute you open your door a crack he's in there filling you up, and it's the most wonderful thing you'll ever feel. If you want me to pray for you, leave a message on my message board. If you have any questions, my ICQ # is 38114083.
