Del the Nymph
As Emera and the Coyote walked closer to he magick pond, they saw the beautiful woman was truly a faery. Emera walked right up to her and said "Hello!".
The faery hadn't seen Emera and jumped when she heard her voice.
Emera and Coyote looked and saw that the faery was a very strange one! She had purple hair and purple, green, and yellow wings! The faery got up and shook her long hair behind her and looked Emera and Coyote over then finally said "Hey, who are you?"
Coyote spoke up and said "I am the Coyote and this is Emera, the Emerald Cat and that's our friend, Shawn the sheep."
They talked for a while with the woman and told her of their adventures so far and how they came to be where there.
"Who are you?" Emera asked.
Del the Nymph
"I," the woman said, "am Del the Nymph! I live here in this forest with the other faeries. I was just getting ready for a party!"
One of the faeries whispered something in Del's ear. Del smiled and her eyes shined, and she asked Emera, "Would you and your friends like to go to the party with us?"
Emera cheered at the idea, then turned to Shawn and Coyote to see what they wanted. Shawn nodded his head and said, "baa!"
Coyote looked down. "I'm kinda shy," he said. "What if they don't like us?"
Emera hugged the Coyote and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. She told him, "Silly Coyote. If they didn't like us, they wouldn't have invited us! It'll be okay. . . you wanna come?"
Coyote thought for a moment, then agreed. Emera cheered, and Del the Nymph smiled. "Come on, then! The party's this way!" Del said. Everyone followed Del down another woodland path until, a short time later, they came into a clearing with a small bonfire in the center and lights dancing in the sky all around them. "Welcome to our surprise welcoming party!" Del said.
