Today at lunch I visited this beautiful site and began to read Daron's Journal. I had to stop when you held him for the first time. My efforts to hold back the tears failed. They began to fall, and as I am at work, I decided to print it so I could read it at home. God has a plan for everything...and everything is as according to His plan. He weighed 1 lb. 12 1/2 ozs. at birth and was 12 3/4 inches long. He was born on 12-22-98 and due 3-30-99. Today 2-17-99 he weighs 2 lbs. 12 1/2 ozs. and is 16 in. (approx.) He is doing pretty well except for having some problems being able to tolerate his feedings for an extended period of time, and also he is not gaining weight very fast, but we are very thankful to GOD for even the smalles in his progress, we will take whatever we can get, no matter how long it takes. Of course we would prefer him home with us, but we want to be sure that he is well enough first and most important! By the way, I really enjoyed looking at the photo galler , some of the pics reminded me of my grandson the he use to look and the way that he kind of looks now. |
