Bridging steps to Cadette Girl Scouts
1. Find out about Cadette Girl Scouting. Look through the Cadette GS
Handbook and IPP book. Find 3 activities you would like to do.2. Do a cadette GS activity. Do one of the 3 you chose in Step One.
3. Do something with a cadette GS. Visit a cadette GS troop or mtg. or help
with an activity that a cadette GS has planned.4. Work on a service project with a Cadette GS. Find out about a service
project a cadette GS or troop is doing and help out.5. Be a leader. Do something that builds leadership skills. You could do
activity Number One in the Leadership IPP book or assist a leader with a
troop or group of younger girls.6. Share what you learn about cadettes with others. Talk to other Jr. GS’s or
visit a Brownie or Daisy GS troop or group and teach a game or song you
learned with Cadette GS. Or make a presentation of the special things about
Cadette GS’ing.7. Help plan your bridging ceremony. Plan ways to make your ceremony
special. Create or discover some special songs, poems, sayings, or
decorations.8. Find out about opportunities and participate in a summer GS activity.
