TRIBUTE TO TAWNY OWL

Our Tawny Owl left us in June 1998 to take over a Spark Group. She had given so much of herself during her time with us. She planned many a camp, trip and special event and kept the Brownies and other leaders very busy!

She not only was a special leader but became a special friend.

Below is a poem the Brownies recited to her at fly-up.

Tawny Owl, Tawny Owl

We're going to miss you.

You did so many special things

so we'd have lots to do.

Sleepovers, trips and camps

and all that fun with food!

Have lots of fun with those lucky Sparks

but boy will we miss you!
