What we've done and what we plan to do!

Updated Sept 27/2000

Wed. Sept. 13 We started our meeting with greeting some old and some new friends.

We also named our new Leaders, Snowy Owl and Rainbow Owl. Girls gave suggestions that were

written down then the new Owls picked.

We discussed our Brownie meeting rules and Froggy taught us our reminder song to help

(see song page) us remember what to bring to Brownies every week.

We learned our motto, and special songs & dances to help us remember it.

Some of our Moms even stayed to find out about the Fun & Adventure their daughters would be

having in Brownies. A Phone List and 1st calendar of the year was in the mail slots to take home.

Wed. Sept. 20 1st Year Brownies continued to discuss the meaning of lending a hand while the

2nd Year Brownies discussed Circle Leader Roles.

Snowy Owl brought a wonderful Lend A Hand Bouquet craft for our Brownies

to make. Each hand shaped flower had a Lend A Hand Circle in the middle that

said "Lend a Hand with the dishes" or "Lend a Hand with the groceries" etc. They were

glued to popsicle sticks and stuck into a pot that had oasis inside it.

There were six hands plus one bright one that said " Have your family pick the flowers

they need a hand with. When all the flowers have been picked bring this signed flower back

from Mom or Dad and you’ll have covered Opening People # 4. "

THANKS FOR THE GREAT CRAFT SNOWY OWL!

Fri- Sept 22- Sunday Sept 24 WE WENT TO CAMP!!!!

Sleepy Owl and Rainbow Owl worked with 1st Year Brownies
