Ahhhhh, so many things to say about the beloved Live Universe, (or formally known as LU) I started out, with no clue on how to chat, type, or makeing friends. And the ones I did make, were the ones I know I am never going to forget. I would come home from school just to get online and talk with all my friends. And you practicly had to pry my fingers from the keyboard to get me to go to bed! LOL
I have so many memories, that would take page after page to name, and LU gave me something I never had. A place to go, to be free of the real world, to have real friends, people who liked you for you and not how you looked, or if you were popular. LU gave me a place to exscape into a world inwich i never wanted to come out of. It gave me a peace of mind, a good time, and great friends, friends I'm never ever going to forget.
I remember the good times..such as, fighting over cookies, *grinz*- putting cyber ciggerettes out with fire hoses, the huge hugs when ever some one you knew came into the room. Or changing you'r name to fit the moment. Even silly pathetic moments, that ment nothing at all, but you always had fun talking about. Fake doctor check ups, tar and feathers, and sometimes ice! Or picking "I love you nots" from a turky, or sailing on that boat that people liked to push people on. There were fights, and romance, liars, and honest people. "As the net turns" I called it.
Everyone stuck by eachother through thick and through thin, sickness and health. In good times and in bad. Everyone was always there for eachother no matter what. There were corny jokes, partys that were more fun than if they were real, there was always somebody there when you needed them. Even when you didn't, they were still there. Some were closer than others, but no one was ever left out. Even if you had to type a 1,000 miles an hour to keep up and talk to everyone, it was always worth it in my eyes.
LU gave me and others a place to belong and to fit in. And theres nothing more special, or wonderful, than having friends, honest friends, who love and care for you no matter what. Cause you don't always get that in the outside world.
LU was a home for many people, to play, and laugh, to goof off, to talk to a friend when there was no one else in the world you could talk to. LU made a lot of peoples lives happier and worth living. Or at least it did for me.It gave me my first taste of friendship, and what friendship is all about.
