"Let the power of the Craft flow from you in love or not at all."
-- The Wiccan Book of the Law.
The beautiful thing about Wicca is that not everyone practices in the same way. There is no one way to conduct a ceremony, cast a circle, or cast spells. Either way, what we do is please the Lord and Lady as long as we are part of the circle rather than try and conrol it.
Many witches are asked what exactly we do and or believe in. What do we follow? I certainly don't speak for all witches, only those who taught me and those I teach and celebrate with. I was taught the Wiccan Book of the Law, as well as the Thirteen Goals of a Witch. Since so many people ask me what they are, I felt I would share them here:
I. Know yourself.
II. Know your craft.
III. Learn
VI. Apply knowledge with wisdom.
V. Achieve balance.
VI. Keep your words in good order.
VII. Keep your thoughts in good order.
VIII. Celebrate Life.
IX. Attune with the cycles of the earth.
X. Eat and breathe correctly.
XI. Exercise the body.
XII. Meditate.
XIII. Honor the Goddess and God.
"Always be proud to be Wicca -- but never allow your pride to become vanity. For those who are self important become as stumbling blocks at the door of the temple, and are cast aside for thier vanity." -- From the Wiccan Book of the Law.
