Guidelines for building Web pages for the Ridgecrest Web site

World Wide Web

Filename rules:

In general, all the pages for a classroom should have the same background, font, style, etc. so there is a consistent look to the pages for that classroom.

Keep your Web files in one folder on the Mac, and don't have them intermixed with other files. If they are all in one folder, without any extra files, it makes it easy to test for you, and it makes it easy to copy to the district Web server.

Mr. Hedman has to log on to the District server and copy the files to the District server. Once the files are on the District server, test them out. When you are ready, let Scott Byrd know, and he will put a link to your classroom page on the Ridgecrest site.

All Web pages should be tested on both Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer.
