My Review On The Book

Talking To Dragons
By Patrica C. Wrede

I give this book five stars because it is one of my favorite books. This is the last book in the Enchanted Forest Chronicles and it is as well written and action packed as the first three. This book takes place sixteen years later and Cimorene is Daystar's mother. If you liked the other books you must read this book to find out what happens next.

Shortly after Daystar's sixteenth birthday a wizard shows up on their doorstep. Daystar had never seen his mother, Cimorene, ever preform magic before, but when she points her finger and says a single word, the wizard melts into a gooey puddle. The following day Cimorene comes out of the forest carrying a sword. With very few words Daystar finds himself tromping through the forest on an adventure. He has no idea why wizard's, elves, and monsters are chasing him, but they all seem to know about the sword he knows nothing about. While lost in the forest he stumbles acoss figures from his mothers past; Morwen the witch, Telemain the magician, and Kuzal the dragon king. Also he finds a companion, Shiara the quick-tempered Firewitch, and Shiara's kitten Nightwitch. This fasinating conclusion to the Enchanted Forest Chronicles is written with enthusiasm, and brilliance. This is a must read book.
