My Review On The Book
Dealing With Dragons
By Patrica C. Wrede
I give this book five stars because it is one of my favorite books. If you like Dragons, Knights, Princesses, and Fairy Tales then I am sure you will love this book. This is the first book in a series of four. If you read this book, you'll want to read the other three. Patrica C. Wrede does a great job writing this book. She makes you feel like you are the princess Dealing with Dragons.
Cimorene is a princess. She is the daughter of a proper king and queen.
She is the youngest of seven. All six of her older sisters are proper as
well. But Cimorene is not. She is too tall, has long jet black hair instead
of blond hair, and is very stubborn. She finds being a princess very dull
and boring. Instead of the normal princess lessons of embroidery, etiquette,
dancing, and the proper way to curtsy to an ambassador, she bullies her
teachers into teaching her something else. Fencing, cooking, magic, and
economics are just a few of the things. After being forbidden from these
lessons she takes the only option remaining; she runs away to be the princess
of a very powerful dragon, Kuzal. While with Kuzal she runs into a jinn,
meets a witch, melts wizards, makes friends with a stone prince, tolerates
annoying princesses, and fights a death dealing bird. And of course, meets
a lot of dragons. Cimorene is a great hero, a princess by birth, and an
adventurer by choice.
