My Review On The Book

Calling On Dragons
By Patrica C. Wrede

I give this book five stars because it is one of my favorite books. If you liked the first two books then I am sure you will love this book. This is the third book in a series of four. Wrede put her soul into writing this book. The book is more somber than the other three, but the stakes are higher, threats greater, and magic unpredictable.

In Calling on Dragons the wizards are at it again. This time they have stolen Mendanbars sword. Since Mendanbar cannot leave the forest, Cimorene, Morwen the witch, Telemain the magicain, Kuzal the dragon king, a couple of cats, and Killer the six foot bule floating insubstantial donkey with wings, set out to look for it. Killer is actually just a rabbit that has discovered the consequences of mixing magic. They run into a farmer, Arona Michaelear Grinogion Vamist (the bad guy), and a family of Firewitches. The outstanding crew of this book find difficulties everytime they turn around, but they are able to overcome them all.
