The Social Studies Project Project

The Project Part

I have chosen to make Jamaica my Island. It has an airport, it also has deep water ports. I have chosen that our buisness makes sugar to export to different countries in the world.

A image promoting Jamaica to tourists.

The people work for less in Jamaica. They make most of their money off of tourism. The airport is located in its capital, Kingston. The deep water port is located in Port Esquivel, which lies about 15 miles west of Kingston. It could export the sugar we produce. As for the competition; they will be out of buisness not being able to cope with our changes. I will start employing people and then start exporting the sugar. My "plantations" will be producing in no time.

A map of Jamaica. Note Kingston and Port Esquivel.
