To Think That There IS constitutes a WRONG WAY OF THINKING,
And Has UnDesirable Consequences !

At This Point You're Saying to Yourself,
"I Knew This Guy Sounded Kinda Crazy, He's Probably a Virus Code Writer, I Gotta Leave This Page, NOW!"

Well, If you do that, you'll miss some important facts.
The Reason I Say There is NO Such THING as TIME, is BECAUSE TIME IS JUST A WAY OF MEASURING MOTION TO COMPARE TO OTHER MOTIONS.

TIME is Not a THING in and of itself, it is Merely a MEASUREMENT OF MOTION.

SO There is NO Such THING as TIME, Itself, Because TIME is Just Our Way of
COMPARING ONE MOTION TO ANOTHER.

THAT'S WHY EINSTEIN SAID (AND PROVED) THAT TIME IS RELATIVE ! .

OK, Now That You're Getting Over the SHOCK, I'll Explain Further.

A DAY IS THE MEASUREMENT OF THE MOTION OF ONE TURN OF THE EARTH, . . . A YEAR IS THE MEASUREMENT OF THE MOTION OF THE EARTH MAKING A COMPLETE REVOLUTION AROUND THE SUN.

OH ! So Maybe I'm Not Crazy After All !

Yes, We MEASURE THE MOTION OF THE EARTH TURNING AND GOING AROUND THE SUN SO THAT WE CAN COMPARE OUR OWN MOTIONS WITH THEM ! !

For Instance, "MAN, IT TOOK YOU ALL DAY TO WRITE THAT ONE LOUSY REPORT!"

The Motion of His Writing was being Compared to the Motion of the Earth Turning!

Ah, Now We Are Getting Some Where ! !

That is WHAT OUR CONCEPT WE CALL TIME IS !

WE COMPARE OUR ACTIVITIES (MOTIONS) TO THE MOTION OF THE EARTH AND SUN, SO THAT WE CAN TELL "HOW LONG" IT TOOK TO DO SOMETHING, OR FOR SOMETHING TO REOCCUR.

AND "HOW LONG" Really Means: How Many Other Motions Occurred During the Same Event(s)!

OK - You Getting It ?
This is Why Time is Relative ! Because All it IS, is comparing one motion, RELATIVE to Another !

Now, I Hope You Are Ready to Be Blown Away One More Time, because I'm going to Elaborate just a little Further. And By the Way, I DIDN'T READ THIS STUFF SOMEWHERE, THIS IS MY VERY OWN CONJECTURE. One Day, I was sitting there trying to figure out this Time and Relativity stuff when it HIT ME LIKE A TON OF BRICKS. TIME IS A CONCEPT, . . . IT'S NOT A THING. IT'S A COMPARISON.

Now, Here's Your LAST "Blow All Your Old Concepts Away" Item and then we'll talk about other things and come back to TIME, Later. (Mwah hah hahhh!)


If Every Thing in the Universe Came to a Screeching Halt, and NOTHING MOVED AT ALL, Not Even a Sub-Atomic Particle, TIME WOULD CEASE TO EXIST.

And of course you say, Baloney! Time is Time ! It Keeps Going.

Ok, Then Let Me Ask You This - - - - IF THE UNIVERSE SUDDENLY Started Up Again, at some point in "TIME", HOW LONG WAS IT STOPPED?

"Well, if it was a Million Years, then that's how long! Or a Billion Years, then THAT'S How Long!" "What Kind of Stupid Question is That?"


Well, Gentle Reader, A Million "What?" "Years?", A Year is one Revolution of the Earth Around the Sun. If Everything Stopped, there would be no Years.

"But, but, bb....Well then it would be However Long the Earth WOULD HAVE Gone Around the Sun a Million times, then, so there!"

But, . . . . . What would it MATTER? If the Entire Universe Stopped, and there was NO MOTION at ALL ! Not even the tiniest vibration of a subatomic particle. And if it Started up again, a "Year" later, or 50 BILLION "YEARS" LATER, It wouldn't make the Slightest bit of Difference.

IT WOULD BE THE EXACT SAME.

And There Would be NO WAY AT ALL to Tell "How Long" it Had Been Stopped.
Even if it Mattered.

Yes, TIME IS A MEASURE OF MOTION, . . . "RELATIVE" to ANOTHER MOTION.
It Really Doesn't Exist At All
