| Most people who have talked to me for any length of time will know I waste a little of my time by writing. Now, I won't promise any great works of art, so prepare yourself for disappointment now. Most of it is a little old and therefore a little on the sappy side, but if you don't mind that sort of stuff, you might enjoy yourself. And I also tend to be a little dark and a little melodramatic. There isn't very much gore though or offensive language, so you're safe on those accounts, though someone out there is probably offended by /something/ I've written, so there's no sense in trying to please everyone. If you /are/ offended I'm really sorry, but I'm not going to change because of that. I've also discovered something about my writing...and about myself. I said before that my writing might be dark. Well, I've decided that it isn't. No matter how dark a piece might seem there seems to be this over-riding sense of optimism. While I fear other human beings, at the same time I seem to have this huge faith in human goodness. Very rarely in my prose is any situation ever so dire, bleak, or full of despair that there will never be a recovery. So if you're cynical and jaded to the point you have no faith left, perhaps my writing will make you sick to your stomach. So again, be warned. This might be too bright for some people to stand comfortably. Just remember, I'm only human and feel free to give CONSTRUCITVE criticisms (either through email or in the Guest book, depending on the length and nature of your comments). |
