The stunning power from Joey takes the lumbering giant by surprise. Joey solidly connects with yet another right hand and Eric staggers. Eric grabs Joey's jersey in an effort to stay on his feet. Joey pulls Erics jersey up over his helmetless head. Blinded Eric swings and misses. Joey Sends a hard right that connects to Eric's already hurting head. Joey says "Bye-bye!" to Eric as he slumpes to the ice.
JOEY WINS!!!

Vernon - 26
Hextall - 18
The Conn Smythe Trophy winner skates to center ice and awaits the Hexed One. Pulling off their masks the scrap starts. This even tussle starts with Hextall and Vernon both connecting with huge rights. Then Verny starts in with the short rabbit punches. But Hexy returns the favor but left handed. They both hang on to each others jersey and spin little circles for a moment. Then Vernie breaks out a flury of punches and down goes Hexy.
Vernie WINS!

Twist - 19
Peluso - 26
The practises in St. Louis will never be the same. TWISTER grabs Peluso by the shoulder and spins him into a huge right hand. The same right hand that has broken helmets in the past. The newly shaved Peluso returns the favor with a right hand of his own. Both go into flurries of punches that leave the other stunned for a second. Yet both recover quickly and the fight is currently very, very even. Suddenly Peluso gets an arm free. The rights just keep coming until finally TWISTER goes down.
PELUSO WINS!

Ray - 40
Simpson - 3
Rob Ray takes on all who are worthy. Some aren't as worthy as others Reid challenges Robbie to the fighters duel. Rob obliges with a hard right to Reid's nose. Followed by a flurry of lefts and rights that no fighter could stand up to. Letting Reid hang on to his jersey Robbie goes to work. Reid trys to be a smart scraper but when he ducks the big windup for a powerfull right Robbie smashes him with a solid left uppercut. Getting bored of bashing the young NHL scraper Robbie pulls the jersey up over his head and when his face reappears a patented Ray windup lands Reid on the ice looking up at the replay on the jumbotron. Robbie gives him one last look as he skates over his fallen foe. With one arm raised in victory Robbie makes the victory lap towards the penalty box.
ROBBIE WINS!

Belanger - 23
Webb - 18
Another battle of the teammates. These two youngins are willing battlers. Ken Belanger spilled Jeff Odgers' blood on the ice in two consectuative games. While Steve Webb had a memorable go round with Rob Ray (a loss but one to remember). This fight starts fast as both of these guys likes to finish it off quickly. New York is a dangerous place to rumble and the winner will have to face Mick Vukota for the enforcer's job. Belanger winds up for the big right but Webb ducks out of the way. Belanger returns the favor with a bob and weave combination of his own. Webb misses with two powerful swings. Seeing that Webb is off balance a little Belanger throws a huge left. Connecting to Webb's shoulder spining him more but the smart scraper grabs Belanger's jersey and steady's himself. Very even bout. One that the Big Apple would enjoy. Ken winds up a la Rob Ray and decks Webb to the ice.
BELANGER WINS!

May - 35
Stevenson - 14
Brad holds the patent to the May Haymaker and Turner is learning the ropes of NHL scraping. Brad starts it by skating through Thibault's crease and Stevenson comes in to serve and protect. The gloves are dropped and even before the gloves hit the cold ice May has landed a punch to the large crannium of Stevenson. This one sided bout has Stevenson recieving more than giving and that isn't a good strategy to any fight. Putting in his little jabs Turner is getting worked. May's right hand is winding up and delivering like lightning in a summer rain storm. Finally Stevenson ties up the right but just then Brad's left squirts free. Look out Turner. Brad must have been watching the Rob Ray fight as he sets into Turner like a Pit Bull on a steak. Brad pummells Turner into the ice.
MAY WINS!!!

Odgers - 11
Laus - 18
Two of the league's worst face off here. Odgers has given more blood than Red Cross donors in the past three years just this season. While Paul Laus has been shipped around to get other horrible scrappers. (like Brent Severyn) These two grab each others jersey's first and then look to punch later. Laus' first little jab opens up some past cut on Odgers' face. With blood sprinkling onto his nice white home jersey Jeff rears up and lands a huge right hand on Laus' face. Paul being too dumb to know it hit him keeps going. Throwing rights and lefts like no tomorrow Laus takes the early lead in the go round. While Odgers' just recieves and bleeds. Out there bleeding up a storm the linesmen jump in a stop the scrap.
Laus WINS!
