Blair Smith scored 10 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter and Andrew Gaze posted a game-high 37 points to go with nine assists (he also miscued eight turnovers) to lead Melbourne past Townsville on the second game of its northern road double. The Tigers prevailed despite being outshot from the floor 58-51 per cent and outrebounded 39-37.
