Buoyed by imports Derek Rucker, who tallied a game-high 26 points, and Clarence Tyson, who charted 17 points and 13 boards, Townsville dusted off Illawarra. "We did not capitalise on Tyson's foul troubles," Illawarra coach Brendan Joyce said. "They stayed in the game while he was of the floor and when he returned he really hurt us."
