Playing the second night of a tough two-game stand, North Melbourne had little answer for Perth. The Wildcats were led by veteran forward James Crawford, who finished with 27 points, while David Van Dyke laced his 16 points with five blocks and 15 rebounds. Darryl McDonald finished with 21 points for the Giants, but Van Dyke scored 10 points in the fourth quarter to ice the game.
