Mercurial Brisbane veteran Leroy Loggins finished with 27 points as Brisbane dealt with Sydney despite having only one import in uniform. The Bullets held Sydney scoreless for the first 10:30 of the fourth quarter. Brisbane took a two-point lead not the fourth quarter before the Kings' offence evaporated. Sparingly used guard Brad Rosen tallied seven of Sydney's fourth-quarter points while Melvin Thomas and Bruce Bolden both charted 13 points for the visiting Kings.
