ADELAIDE 106 - Canberra 93

Adelaide rallied from nine points down at half-time to eclipse Canberra in what was Brett Maher's 150th NBL game. Maher led the Sixers with 23 points while Mario Donaldson tallied a game-high 31 points. "That is what this team needed to do, have a difficult task and achieve it. The defence in the second half was inspirational," Adelaide coach Dave Claxton said. Said Canberra coach Brett Flanigan: "They stormed home on our poor shot selection and turnovers. Our offence really broke down early, we did not look to work for the shots."

Adelaide: Maher 23, Rillie 21, Trimmingham 18, McKinnon 12, Wheeler 11, Sapwell 6, Cattalini 5, Davis 4, Brown 4, Ninnis 2.

Canberra: Donaldson 31, Rose 23, Dwight 19, Borner 10, Pilon 6, Mann 2, Denman 2.
