Adelaide rallied from nine points down at half-time to eclipse Canberra in what was Brett Maher's 150th NBL game. Maher led the Sixers with 23 points while Mario Donaldson tallied a game-high 31 points. "That is what this team needed to do, have a difficult task and achieve it. The defence in the second half was inspirational," Adelaide coach Dave Claxton said. Said Canberra coach Brett Flanigan: "They stormed home on our poor shot selection and turnovers. Our offence really broke down early, we did not look to work for the shots."
