Lady Warriors Results for Beavercreek Invitational
The Lady Warriors opened their season on a very positive note. On a warm evening, the girls established a fair pack with 86 seconds separating the top 5 girls. Lisa Jameson showed she's ready for the season to begin! She paced the team with a 22:55. The remainder of the varsity top seven ran in the 23 to 24 minute range. They did not keep a team score at this meet, but it was obvious that Centerville was the top team. It was clear the Wayne is a much improved team this year. The Warriors will be fun to watch this season!

Michael Winghart was the top male runner for Wayne. He toured the course in 17:26. Sophomore Brandon Baker was our second man across the finish line. He ran a fine 18:10, so the 17:00's are within reach real soon for him. Tom Bertling was close behind with a 18:24. The top "7" is listed below. They will represent Wayne at the Mentor Invitational for the next Varsity race.
