Not too much to say. He was born and raised in the South, to be a gentleman, by a very respected, respectable family. With his size and talent, he was a natural on the basketball and baseball teams at various points through out his life. In fact, when he was 23, and trying out college, he made spare money in pick up baseball games, with his team selling tickets to an occasional event in a small Georgia town. One such event, he was spotted by Golden Wrestling owner Harry "Hues" Hollins. Harry got him into his federation for several years. However, when GW closed down, Duane was without a job, until several months later, when his good friend Ace Tanke invited Duane to join Mike D's IWCW with him. Duane teamed with Ace's nephew, Wilde, who Duane had in fact helped train. The two even won the IWCW United States title. When there was a federation split, and half the federation became NAWA, Duane, wrestling in both, the new US tag champ Duane ended up holding belts in both federations, each with a different partner. He also wrestled in the original Shawn Armstrong's Association of Fantasy Wrestlers, holding their Masters title on several occasions, mainly during a feud with "Rebel" Mike D. Duane managed to make a strong impression over that federation along with Black Knights partner Amber Knight. The two were one half of the Brotherhood, a very nice, likable stable. His highlights in AFW include some awesome Black Knights vrs. Dark Scouts (Wilde Tanke and Maximus_Ordicus) matches, the two Master's title, a win over Security, and one of the longest contracted stints in AFW history. After AFW closed down, he remained in silence, making an occasional failed comeback. He'd actually won the Hard Core title in a federation known as Burmington, Alabama Rastl'N, but suffered a broken hand for it after winning. With BARN closed down, Duane's put aside the pain in his hand to come to Robert D, intending to find out exactly what, if anything, Robert D had to do with it. |
