This club is a recent amalgamation between Central Districts(a.k.a West Perth) Cricket Club and Coolbinia/Yokine Cricket Club in what was the M.C.A competition and now is the P.C.A in Perth. The amalgamation took part preceding the 1995/96 season.
We currently have 5 grades in the newly amalgamated Perth Cricket Association. The amalgamation was brought about to form a better competition. The two associations that amalgamated were the Metropolitan Cricket Association (M.C.A) and the Perth Mercantile Cricket Association (PMCA), in Perth Western Australia. The PCA is a new look competition. It contains a two conference A-Grade competition, with a conference reserve as a back-up to the two top conferences. Each of these top conferences is a mixture of four teams from each of the respective top grades. The grades for the up and coming season are:
Mercantile Conference, Metropolitan Conference, Reserve Conference, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade, 6th Grade, 7th Grade, 8th Grade and a 9th Grade. The last two grades play One Day games only.
